Just a Food Photo: Soba Noodles

Our dinner last night - Chicken Teriyaki with Soba Noodles. K. took this very lovely photo of the buckwheat noodles before I cooked them, so I though I'd share the photo with you..

Beautiful! I think the Japanese really do the most lovely food packaging.

I always enjoy your food photos! You have always nice backgrounds and props! Do you keep fresh flowers, dried flowers, tablecloths and other stuff around for photo moments?

I´m a total sucker for the Japanese noodles in their pretty little bundles.

Dear Pille.

I took note of this place from a blog I read often. You might be already familiar with it, but just in case I leave you the link. When in Hamburg, visit this; the best offer selection of the whole German market: http://www.oschaetzchen.com/index_e.html

I am hoping that I can still surprise you!

Tanna, Lydia, Lobstersquad – thank you!

Lennuk – we’ve got few props and about 7 nice kitchen towels that we use over and over again :) And yes, we do try to have fresh flowers around, if possible at all. Not as props per se, although we do exploit them when we’ve got them around :) These lilac blossoms are from February daphne/Paradise plant (näsiniin) – my mum gave us a flowering branch from her garden when we last visited.

MariaJaan – thank you, I will!
